The Roadmap to Adoption

01

Email rescue@fuse.net for an application

Start your journey by filling out our detailed application. This helps us understand your lifestyle, home environment, and what you’re looking for in a new companion.

02

Application Review & Outreach

Our volunteer team reviews each application carefully. If it looks like a potential match, we’ll reach out to discuss the pet's specific needs and answer any questions you may have.

03

Meet-and-Greets

Time for first impressions! We arrange a session for you to meet the pet in person. For dog adoptions, this often includes a supervised meeting with any existing pets you have.  If all is a MATCH, you can take your new family member home.

04

Welcome Your New Best Friend

Congratulations! You are now officially a pet parent. We offer ongoing support and check-ins to help you and your pet adjust to your new lives together.

05

Misc

Please, do not apply for a baby kitten if you have children below the age of 5 years old.  If you live in an apartment, please review your lease agreement as usually 2 pets are max.  And, be certain your spouse is 100% in agreement with adding a new family member to love and feed.
